They were bought for over $300 when new.

These boots have a slightly square toe.  I got these in a Soho boutique in New York City.  I wore them extensively as everyday boots for around 5 years, then brought them to the woods and to the beach, into the surf.  THEY STILL HAVE LOTS OF SAND IN THEM from the ocean (see pics).  They were my only pair of their kind in my collection and now it's time to part with them with hopes of better things to come.  =)
